Evidence from the paper
The recent lower estimate of 212 ± 7 GPa for CaSiO3 by Sinelnikov et al. (1998) arises from their use of a value of K_S for Ca(Ti0.5Si0.5)O3 of 188 ± 1 GPa, which falls significantly below the general trend.
