Evidence from the paper
We have also calculated the 300 K isotherm applying the two parameter Holzapfel's [1991] equation of state with the assumption that MgO behaves at high pressure as a 'simple' solid characterized by an average atomic number ⟨Z⟩ = 10 and mean atomic volume at zero pressure ⟨V0⟩ = 9.338 ± 0.001 ų.
