Evidence from the paper
Using the measured elastic data as a basis, Liebermann (1974) obtained a value for the bulk modulus of MgSiO3 (ilmenite structure) by extrapolation according to Shankland's (1972) velocity-density systematics relation for isostructural compounds. The extrapolated value, K0 = 2.11 Mbar, is somewhat below the value estimated in this study.
