Evidence from the paper
which compare very well with the static-compression data KT = 160 (2) GPa with fixed K'T = 4.15, reported by Fei (1999). ... Fei (1999) has carried out diamond-anvil-cell static compression experiments of MgO up to 23 GPa at 300 K, under quasi-hydrostatic conditions using neon as a pressure-transmitting medium and NaCl as a pressure calibrant.
